The Well Kitchen Helper
Availability:
The Well- half day sessions 9 -1:00 PM twice per weekly – Monday and or, Wednesday and or, Thursday
Criteria:
• Fluent in English – bilingualism an asset.
• Comfortable working with little supervision
• Personable, friendly and outgoing
• Able to lift up to 30lbs, comfortable with stairs and bending
• Current Police background check
• Proof of Covid vaccinations – must be willing to wear a mask indoors, as we are a high risk setting

Duties:
• Assisting the Food Services Coordinator as needed. Every Monday and Wednesday the food needs to be checked – dispose any spoiled food and wipe out the fridge.
• Help to bring in the food deliveries including Sysco, Food Bank and Whole Foods. (W.F. is Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays, F.B. is Wednesday)
• Sweep and Mop out Community Fridge room when needed
• Break down boxes and take them out to recycling bins outside
• Volunteers will sign in and out after each session to capture volunteer hours

Volunteers are vital to The Community Day Programs day-to-day operations. As a non-profit organization, we cannot provide the support we do without the commitment of our community volunteers.
