The goal of the Meal Service Volunteer is to ensure that individuals living in our residences have access to meals 3 times a day and can do so in a supportive environment. Serving food is the primary task. The Meal Service Volunteer is welcome to converse with the individuals using our services.

Primary duties include:
• Preparing food before mealtime.
• Serving food and drinks to individuals using our services.
• Wiping tables down after mealtime.
• Organizing food and program supplies.
• Cleaning dishes.
• Meeting individuals where they are at and providing them meaningful engagement.

We can provide a lot of flexibility for people who want to come in from a few times a week, to weekly, to monthly, to once or a twice a year. If you want to volunteer for a semester, a summer, or more long-term, we have options! We also have flexibility in schedule to work around a time that works for you.
