The goal of the Meal Service Volunteer is to ensure that all individuals who access our services have access to meals 3 times a day and can do so in a supportive environment. Although serving food is the primary task, the Meal Service Volunteer is welcome to converse with the individuals using our services and provide social companionship while they are using our services.

Primary duties include:
• Preparing food before mealtime.
• Serving food and drinks to individuals using our services.
• Wiping tables down after mealtime.
• Organizing food and program supplies.
• Cleaning dishes.
• Meeting individuals where they are at and providing them meaningful engagement.

We can provide a lot of flexibility for people who want to come in from a few times a week, to weekly, to monthly, to once or a twice a year. If you want to volunteer for a semester, a summer, or more long-term, we have options! We also have flexibility in schedule to work around a time that works for you.
