How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteering with Fringe is an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, be part of a thriving artistic community and see lots of free theatre. More specifically, for every shift you work you will be able to attend a show for free, we will provide snacks for volunteers, there will be free volunteer appreciation shows each day, and after the festival we will host a volunteer appreciation event to say thank you for all your hard work.
How will the organization benefit?
Since 100% of ticket sales go to the performers, the Ottawa Fringe festival relies on volunteers, grants, and donors to keep going and growing. Simply put, if you volunteer with Fringe you are a key piece of making this festival happen.
