Ottawa Seniors Transportation Committee – Volunteer Community Members
Description
Are you interested in older adults and transportation issues? Do you like to learn about new and emerging transportation-related issues, read news articles, and surf the internet? Are you ready to be an advocate? We are looking for individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and make a difference!
We need your skills and would welcome you to apply for:
Ottawa Seniors Transportation Committee – meets once per month, 2nd Monday from 1:30 to 3:00
Pedestrian Safety and Walkability Sub-Committee – meets once a month, 1st Monday from 1:30 to 3:30
As a committee member, you would join a diverse mixed group of advisors and community members. The Transportation Committee is actively engaged in pedestrian safety and walkability, rural transportation, and older drivers.
If you have the desire to work on projects and support the development of written documents, we would love to have you join our team. Your interests in research, analysis, and writing for the purpose of informing, educating, and advocating for older adult transportation issues would be a welcomed addition to our committee.
