Provide opportunity for residents to express and fulfill their individual spiritual needs
Provide empathic active listening skills and emotional support to residents
Pastoral Visitor should have vast knowledge and understanding of the various multi-faiths and denominations and perspectives in order to provide an holistic approach to a geriatric population in a long term care Facility
Knowledge and experience with elderly health compromised individuals is necessary
