The Parent Resource Centre (PRC) will hold our annual Power of Play event on Saturday June 18 in Strathcona Park.

Playtime, especially with family, is our priority and is an essential building block of childhood. It allows children to practice what they learn. PRC is thrilled to provide an opportunity to bring families together to connect, explore and learn in the great outdoors.

We are looking for a volunteer (or two) to sit on our planning committee and support the day of the event.

We are looking for someone with event coordination/management skills to help with the planning phase (including attending weekly virtual committee meetings). This person must be comfortable speaking with local businesses on our organization’s behalf. The volunteer will also be required to attend, in person, the day of the event and likely leading up to the event to help get things ready.
