You can play a vital role in one of the world’s largest chamber music festivals, our concert series and community engagement activities. With the help of dedicated volunteers, Ottawa Chamberfest offers audiences an impressive variety of concerts and events featuring artists from across Canada and around the world.

Our production/stage crew volunteer:
*Sets up and dismantles stage elements prior to and after the concert
*Contributes to the efficient movement and placement of chairs, music stands and other stage equipment at the various concert venues
*Assists with all venue logistics and pageantry
*Carries out set changes
*Loads and unloads trucks and vans, as required
*Reports to Head of Production

Skills and tools required:
*Must be a team player and be able to follow complex, detailed instructions
*Must be in good health and willing and able to perform physical tasks including moving equipment and loading and unloading of trucks, and heavy lifting, if required
*Accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment
*Previous stage experience is an asset but not required
*Ideally, Production Crew volunteers will provide their own steel-toe boots to adhere to the Ministry of Labour Safety Standards. If you need assistance with this requirement, please contact the Head of Production at production(at)chamberfest.com.
*Please note that these are non-standard shift lengths, depending on the needs of a particular concert/event.

Mainly at the Carleton Dominion-Chalmers Centre (355 Cooper St) at O'Connor St.
