Summary: The Public Policy Assistant conducts public policy research, coordination with partners, and action to inform legislators. He/she communicates with policy makers, other legislative officials and the public, about issues affecting cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers.
The Public Policy Assistant will help with implementing provincial election questions and responses from parties and candidates; help organize All-party Cancer Caucuses in several provincial legislatures; help with our Legislative Watch Program.
Candidate should have excellent writing skills, be good at research, and be able to talk to health professionals and policy makers in a professional manner.
