We are seeking Recreation Assistant Volunteers to join our team and contribute to fostering a vibrant and engaging environment for our community. As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a crucial role in organizing and facilitating recreational activities that enhance the overall well-being and enjoyment of our participants.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in planning, organizing, and executing recreational programs and events.
2. Engage with participants to ensure their needs and preferences are considered in activity planning.
3. Set up and organize equipment/materials for various recreational activities.
4. Encourage social interaction and create a positive, inclusive atmosphere during events.
5. Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to ensure seamless coordination of activities.
6. Provide support to participants with varying abilities to ensure their full participation.
7. Maintain a clean and organized recreational space.
Qualifications:
– Enthusiastic about contributing to the well-being of the community through recreational activities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
– Flexibility and creativity in adapting activities to suit diverse participant interests.
– Prior experience in organizing or assisting with recreational events is a plus.
