The Manor Park Community Council (MPCC) is seeking Directors to join its Board. The Board provides strategic guidance to management on the operations of its licensed child care, recreation and event operations. The MPCC operates year-round, employing some 50 staff. We serve all ages in the greater community from locations in Manor Park.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
If elected to the Board of Directors, the volunteer will learn about the governance of a not-for-profit organization and have opportunity to contribute their own skills to activities serving a diverse community.
How will the organization benefit?
The MPCC seeks diversity on its Board of Directors to reflect the composition of the community it serves. Directors serve a 2-year term, and upon retirement from the Board a new position becomes available.
