We are seeking the support of a volunteer to develop a very simple and basic website related to an annual artists retreat we host in the summer. We have a domain to assign to the site. We also have text to provide. We expect it to contain only a couple of pages on how to apply and what to expect, along with visuals (photos and a video). We would like a very clean, simple, easy to maintain design. The site should be bilingual, with a French mirror site – we can provide all of the content in both languages. We would like to site to be built and ready by the third week of March, ideally, in order to begin promoting the retreat which takes place in the summer.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This is a good opportunity to build a portfolio and hone skills related to website development, we can provide a reference for employment or volunteer purposes. It is also a great way to learn about the non-profit and conservation sectors in the Ottawa region.
How will the organization benefit?
The organization will benefit by being able to promote the summer artists retreat to a wider range of potential artists, the sale of artwork from the retreat benefits the organization's programs and services.
