Description

Are you a movie lover? Do you want to learn more about the operation of a cinema? Are you looking for opportunities to complete community hours? Do not miss the chance to volunteer with Ottawa Family Cinema!

Who we are:

The Ottawa Family Cinema is a non-profit organization, run by volunteers. We are celebrating more than 40 years of quality entertainment at a low cost to the community as well as assistance to those who are economically challenged. For more information, please go to our website: https://www.familycinema.ca

Who we are looking for:

We have been closed since the pandemic and will re-open from October 2023. Currently, we are looking for volunteers for different positions, including snack bar cashiers, popcorn makers, ushers, birthday party coordinators, etc. There are many ways to help. You can greet and seat the audience, help with the set-up and take-down, and turn a school hallway and auditorium into a fully-fledged cinema with a snack bar and box offices. You could also get involved in stage activities, take care of the donation table, and so much more.

If you do not have any relevant experience, no problem at all! We will provide training. As long as you are punctual, reliable, and friendly, you are the one we are looking for!
