Description

CCI Ottawa is running a Competitive Soccer League for Newcomers and is looking for community members that are passionate about the game and supporting the newcomer community in Ottawa to get involved.

Volunteers must be possess the following requirements:
– Adult (18+ years old);
– Available SATURDAY NIGHTS from 9:00pm – 12:00am, starting immediately, running until March/April;
– Reliable transportation to RA CENTRE (Central/South Ottawa);
– Strong knowledge of the game of soccer (experience as a referee/coach would be an asset);
– High degree of integrity and committed to the role.

Volunteers will provide on-site support to League Organizers, which may include: welcoming teams/players; ensuring rosters are accurate; supporting league organizers with set-up; ensuring games run smoothly and any disputes are effectively settled.

Volunteers should be comfortable with the game of soccer and possess a great deal of confidence taking on a leadership role providing guidance to players, coaches and other participants.
