Description
Upstream Ottawa is actively seeking a volunteer to assist with our social media efforts. Tasks include:
– Advising on strategic direction of content
– Creating posts and content on various platforms, such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
– Tracking metrics and uptake of social media posts
– Taking part in relevant social media meetings to provide advisement or updates on social media strategy and progress

This is an opportunity to work with a grassroots organization in the NCR. Upstream provides community supports to youth and adults living with mental health and substance-use health challenges, to lead self-guided and fulfilling lives. Our volunteers make a real impact on the lives of our clients and the goals of the organization.

Social media is a critical component to spreading the word about the impact that Upstream Ottawa has on the community. The more we socialize our objectives and goals, the more opportunity has to make a positive impact on our client's lives.
