Lotus Centre for Special Music Education is dedicated to providing access to adapted music education opportunities for students with exceptionalities. Volunteers are essential to our work bringing music into the lives of people with exceptionalities. No music experience is required!

There are many volunteer opportunities with varying levels of commitment. The following programs require volunteer support:
-After-school program: Monday-Friday 2pm-6pm on all school days
-PA Day Camps: 9am-4pm on all school PA days
-Mini Music Camps: 1-4pm on Sundays

Tasks included in volunteer placements include the following:
-supporting students who require 1:1 support to participate in program activities
-assisting students with daily living activities such as feeding and outdoor play
-preparing and cleaning up activities

How will the organization benefit?
Having volunteers work with our students is so valuable to our organization. Volunteers can support our PA day, March Break and summer camps, assist in our Sunday afternoon respite program, and special events.
