SLT – Kitchen Helper
Availability:
St Luke’s Table – half day sessions 9 -12:30 PM or 12:30 – 4 PM weekly.
Criteria:
• Fluent in English – bilingualism an asset.
• Comfortable working with little supervision
• Personable, friendly, and outgoing
• Able to lift to 30lbs, comfortable with lifting, bending and stairs
• Current Police background check for the vulnerable sector
• Proof of Covid vaccinations
Duties:
• Assisting the Food Services Coordinator as needed with meal prep, comfortable with handling and chopping food, serving/plating meals
• May include help with unloading the van and receiving deliveries
• Organizing food from Foodbank and Whole Foods
• Keeping the tables and coffee station clean, tidy, and replenished
• May include dishwashing – industrial dishwasher
• Volunteers will sign in and out after each session to capture volunteer hours

Volunteers are vital to The Community Day Programs day-to-day operations. As a non-profit organization, we cannot provide the support we do without the commitment of our community volunteers.
