Orientation and rehearsal will be held on July 27 between 10:00 AM – 12:20 PM at Strathcona Park with refreshments. Virtual training can be provided for alternative solutions.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Volunteers will work together in a collegial environment to make this event a success such that volunteers, exhibitors and visitors have a great experience. Volunteers may expect to meet a variety of people who share a common interest in helping those who struggle with mental illness. They will have contact with the managers who have organized the event and an opportunity to learn about event management.
How will the organization benefit?
This event builds awareness of the issues faced by those who are mentally ill and by those who care for them. It provides an opportunity for us to network with other organizations active in this field, and it helps to fund ongoing operations.
