Volunteer Ottawa is looking for highly motivated and committed translators who are able to translate documents from English to French. We are looking for volunteers who will translate anything from newsletters, press releases, brief biographies, testimonials, best-practice documents, workshop workbooks, web content, and our Annual Report in a timely manner.
The workload will vary throughout the year. During our busiest periods, approx.. 3-4 hours per week.
If you have excellent organizational skills, can work with little or no supervision and can respect tight deadlines, we want to hear from you.
Must have experience as a translator.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This opportunity will allow you to use and develop your skills in both English and French. You will also develop skills and gain experience as a translator, including knowledge within the not-for-profit sector. You will play a key role in helping to ensure that Volunteer Ottawa will be able to serve both English and French people in our community.
