Description
Odyssey Theatre, Ottawa’s award-winning outdoor theatre, is holding a reading of a new play on Sunday December 18. We are looking for a volunteer who could attend the staged reading of the script and video record it for archival purposes. The workshop is being held at the University of Ottawa theatre studio next to Arts Court. The reading would be from 2:00 – 4:30 pm including an intermission. The volunteer should have experience with video recording. Access to a camera is an asset.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This is a great opportunity for someone interested in developing their video recording skills, by recording a live theatre performance. The person also gets to attend a live performance of a new script for free.
How will the organization benefit?
Odyssey needs to record the performance for archival (non-commercial) purposes. The playwright will use the recording to further develop the script for future production.
Volunteer location:
LabO Studio, University of Ottawa Theatre Department. 60 Waller Street, Ottawa.
