Description
Virtual Reality (VR) is a computer-generated environment in which images and objects to be real giving the impression that they are completely immersed in their surroundings. VR can provide a platform for seniors to socialize and participate in activities that are difficult due to advancing age. VR serves as a portal through which seniors can relive, reconnect, and re-inspire their lives. VR can be used as a form of reminiscence therapy.
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This is a fun activity in which the volunteer can journey along with the resident. The volunteer can 'travel' along with the resident.
How will the organization benefit?
We cannot provide activities for our residents without the support of volunteers.
