We are looking for a compassionate individual to spend time with one of our tenants who experiences social isolation due to a visual impairment. This tenant loves music, going for walks, and enjoying a cup of coffee. The dedicated volunteer for this role will spend time with the tenant once a week either going for a walk in the community, or visiting a local coffee house to chat about their hobbies.
Applicants for this opportunity must be patient, friendly and compassionate, have the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong interpersonal and successfully complete the screening process.
