The Grocery Bus (TGB) program provides bi-weekly grocery shopping support to senior clients who live in our community.
The Grocery bus program is on Wednesday mornings.
Volunteer meet the service coordinator at the Centre at 9:25am.
Volunteer tasks on the Grocery bus include helping the clients on and off the bus.
Once at Billings Bridge shopping Centre, Grocery bus volunteers assist clients with grocery shopping, if necessary.
Assistance can be reading labels, searching for grocery items and/or escorting client around the shopping mall.
