Volunteer Grant Writer and Proposal
Description
Job Overview:
The Grant Officer will be responsible for all research, outreach and communications related to grant writing and reporting.They will work closely with the Special Projects Manager and the Resource Development Lead/Project Coordinator, as well as other team members to deliver fundraising efforts for the period.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop and craft grant proposals to secure funding for the organization
Research and report on new funding opportunities
Manage communication with potential donors and relevant stakeholders internally and externally
Follow all requirements and deadlines for grant applications
Maintain grant application records
Other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
University degree or college diploma in a relevant field
Research skills and proposal writing
Knowledge of non-profit fundraising
Demonstrated experience in grant writing for fundraising
Detail-oriented and well-organized in terms of work delivery
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
Can work with minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Zoom and Trello for task management
Ability to work asynchronously and in remote environment
