We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Board of Directors as a Volunteer IT and
External Communications Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in managing
our organization’s IT infrastructure, enhancing our website, and leading external
communications strategies, particularly with government stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the organization’s IT systems, ensuring optimal functionality and security.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement technology solutions that support
organizational objectives.

Website Development and Management:
Lead the development and maintenance of the organization’s website, ensuring it reflects
current initiatives and is user-friendly.
Implement SEO strategies to enhance online visibility.

Data Management:
Knowledge of data management protocols to safeguard sensitive information.
Utilize data analytics tools to extract valuable insights for decision-making.

Government Communications:
Support the board in its communications with government agencies and officials.

Survey Monkey and MailChimp:
Knowledge of survey tools such as Survey Monkey to gather feedback from stakeholders and
community members.
Manage email communication campaigns through platforms like MailChimp or other
Manage HWF Google Suite

Qualifications:
Proven experience in IT management, website development, and data analytics.
Familiarity with government communications and regulations.
Proficiency in using tools such as Survey Monkey and MailChimp.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Passion for the organization’s mission and values.
