Odyssey Theatre’s Event Organizing Committee is looking for a Volunteer Recruiter to help make magic and bring the community together through the love of theatre! The Volunteer Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and onboarding new volunteers for the Odyssey Theatre Event Organizing Committee. This role is crucial in bringing together a team who will create fresh new events for Odyssey Theatre and help raise awareness of its work in Ottawa. This role will involve leveraging social media to attract a diverse pool of enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers.
About Odyssey Theatre
In Ottawa’s beautiful Strathcona Park, Odyssey pioneers new directions in theatre art with innovative productions in the field of mask and movement. We explore the vibrant integration of text, music, dance, and fairground arts while reaching out to culturally diverse artists whose art forms enrich our work. Odyssey founder and Artistic Director Laurie Steven established the Company in 1986 and continues to be its driving force. Her artistic vision is supported by dynamic staff and an engaged board of directors.
