Volunteer Storytime Reader
Canadian Parents for French is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and enthusiastic individual to volunteer as a Volunteer Storytime Reader for our project with Bilingual Ottawa.
CPF has created a series of short French books about famous/popular monuments in Ottawa and are hosting some in person and virtual story time sessions. Volunteer readers will be responsible for leading virtual or in person sessions by reading our book on Ottawa along with one other book to children in the session. There will be multiple children for one session.
Sessions will be held on Zoom.
Strong spoken and written French and English is needed. Readers will be working in both official languages.
Prior experience working with children and youth is encouraged.
