We are in need of truck assistants to help deliver furniture and housewares to Ottawa’s marginalized community from our warehouse in Kanata, or to pick up furniture donations from Ottawa households. You will be part of a three-person truck crew. Weekdays only beginning at 9 a.m. – one or more days a week. Some heavy lifting is required.

You will be an integral part of an organization devoted to helping Ottawa's marginalized community. Furniture Bank helped furnish over 700 homes last year. You can enjoy being part of a dedicated team providing direct assistance to those less fortunate, and at the same time meet new people and get a good workout!

Our truck assistants are an important part of our team that helps furnish homes for Ottawa's marginalized community. Truck work (delivering furniture and housewares to our clients and picking up donations to be provided to our clients) is essential for Furniture Bank to fulfill its key mission.
