Help us make homes for those in need in the Ottawa area. Matthew House Furniture Bank provides donated furniture and housewares to individuals and families who are transitioning to permanent housing to make their new space feel like home. We urgently need volunteers to help move furniture in our warehouse. Some heavy lifting is required. Come and be part of a team, knowing your work will make a difference in the lives of people in your community. Choice of weekday daytime shifts.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
The volunteer will know they are helping those in need receive furniture to make their accommodation a home they can enjoy. The volunteer will benefit by being part of a dedicated and friendly team. And get a good workout!
How will the organization benefit?
Warehouse assistants are crucial to the work of Furniture Bank, by helping move the furniture our clients choose within our warehouse and to our trucks for delivery.
