Come and help Waupoos Family Farm get ready for the winter! Clean up indoors and out. Put away summer toys and bring out winter items Clean up the gardens, and rake leaves before winter. Cottage and lodge cleaning too. Lots of opportunities to keep busy, meet people and enjoy a day in the country!
Saturday, Oct 22, 2022 – 9 am to 2 pm. Lunch will be provided to volunteers.

Please note, own transportation is required as Waupoos Farm is not located on any bus route
How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
Opportunity to serve the community, learn or enhance existing skills and work as part of a group. Excellent opportunity for high school students to earn community service hours. Also, a fun opportunity for local Guiding and Scouting organizations to provide volunteer service to a worthy organization.
How will the organization benefit?
Waupoos relies on volunteers to continue its work serving low-income families.
This one-day event will help our volunteer resident families clean up outdoor toys, furniture etc and prepare the farm for winter. There is so much work to do to keep our charity operating smoothly. Any and all help is appreciated!
Volunteer location:
The Farm is located at 2050 Rideau Road, south of the Ottawa airport.
The closest crossroad is Rideau Road at Bowesville Road
