Description

Our websites (cpaws-ov-vo.org and snap-vo.org) are WordPress based websites. We are seeking a volunteer to work with our Communications team to perform edits to the website and to help solve a few website issues that we have been unable to resolve. Our team will provide direction and content, the role of the volunteer will be to post content, resolve issues and ideally, help train other staff and volunteers on how to edit the site. We expect the volunteer commitment to be in the order of one to two hours per week at the most, with some weeks with no edits to be made.

How will this opportunity benefit the volunteer?
This is a great way for a volunteer to hone their website building skills while learning about conservation and environmental issues all while meeting others who care about these issues. We are pleased to provide a reference for school or employment purposes.
How will the organization benefit?
A professional and up-to-date website is essential for communicating our work to members of the community, decision-makers, donors and potential volunteers. As a small organization with limited communications resources, the support of the volunteer will be essential in ensuring a strong web presence for the organization.
Volunteer location:
Flexible - can be performed remotely.
