Workshop Registration Process and Cancellation Policy
Important registration information:
If the person who will participate in this workshop is not the VO member organization’s primary account holder, please include the email of the attendee in the Additional Information/Order Notes section during checkout.
Registration confirmation:
Volunteer Ottawa will send an automated confirmation of your registration. If you haven’t received a confirmation, please check your spam or junk inbox. If you are still unable to find your confirmation, you can get in touch with us at [email protected]
Cancellation by participant:
Volunteer Ottawa facilitators put time and energy into preparing their sessions. If you register but are unable to attend, please reach out to our team or consider transferring your registration to a colleague by emailing us at [email protected]
Learners who have paid to join a workshop will be issued a refund or workshop credit if they cancel their registration with a minimum of five business days’ notice. All other cancellations are non-refundable.
Transfer of registrations:
All free registrations are transferrable to eligible staff and volunteers in your organization. If you need to update the registration, please contact our team.
Minimum participants per learning opportunity:
All Volunteer Ottawa learning opportunities have a minimum attendance requirement of three learners. If this requirement is not met five business days before the scheduled date, VO reserves the right to cancel or reschedule.
Cancellation by VO:
VO will issue full refunds for cancelled events. If an event has been rescheduled and you are unable to attend, VO will issue a credit or a refund upon request.
